You may notice that now the Members List is updated with the player of each RP account.

And please, for future reference, do not hide the activity on your roleplay accounts. It is vital that the mods are able to see that you have been online! Appearing in the chat as always, is the main thing still.

While no major attacks have been made yet, Mexico, Scotland, and Sealand remain as Axis prisoners of war! The Allied have Latvia as their prisoner of war too!

France is being occupied by the Axis, while Estonia's being occupied by the Allied. Congratulations, you two are the respective bitches of Turkey and Australia. (It's always those two. :|)

It seems that Germany is being aimed for. By everyone. The Axis should find a plan before one of their most powerful nations gets knocked right off the map~

And wtf Austria's on the Allies? I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT A LOT OF YOU ARE PICKING ILLOGICAL SIDES HERE. |:<

Spain is apparently on the Allies. Romano's on the Axis, idiot! France is to blame.

World War IV has officially started... Allies versus the Axis!

This journal will be updated with news on the battle and activity. As we are only in the first day of the war, everyone is planning... And to those of you who have not chosen a side just yet, choose wisely!

ALSO, please note that in WWIV, we need as many countries as possible to be participating. So if you aren't active at all, you will be taken off. The new limit is ONE. WEEK. This is temporary, but it will apply for the month. Idling is not an option.

WELCOME! This account is for the chat #AxisPowersHetalia! Please take time to read this introduction, and then read the rules if you wish to join!

What is This Chat For?
This is a fan base roleplaying chat where you may claim a country (can be an OC or Official Character) and roleplay as that character in the chat #AxisPowersHetalia on deviantART. We roleplay, chat, and have fun. (NOTE: We don't always talk about Hetalia. Death Note conversations have come up before. Oh my.)

What is Hetalia?
Hetalia is a manga and anime series by Hidekaz Himaruya placed in a World War-era setting in which the countries are represented by anthropomorphic characters. Hetalia is a made-up word combining hetare (Japanese for useless) and Italia. This is to make light of Italy's apparent cowardice during World War II. And every other war. And everything else.

The main historical events portrayed in this work occur between World War I and World War II. The series often uses satire and comedy to address well-known and lesser-known historical facts.

How Do I Join?
First of all, you would have to read The Rules.

Can I Just Chat, and NOT Roleplay?
This is a roleplaying chat, however, we do allow you to chat OUT OF CHARACTER. When you chat out of character, or, OOC for short, you use brackets at the end of your posts. For example, let's say you want to say something about ice cream (random topic), and since you do not have a character you would have to speak in brackets.

<You>I like ice cream because it's not salty.]

You do not have to use ] as a bracket. Choose one of three. ], ), or } is fine. Double brackets are acceptable as well, but we usually use one bracket.

Brackets? I Don't Follow.
Well, my confused friend, brackets are what makes a fine line between being in character, and when being out! When you are out of character, you must use brackets! When you are in character, you do not! Simple, really!

Now, of course if you forget to use a bracket you won't get branded on your cheek with the letter 'F' for fail. Just post it right after your post. We all forget sometimes, and sometimes our fingers slip. Here's an example of a silly mistake.

<Italy-kun>I SMELL BACONNNNNNN. U8
<Italy-kun>]

See? It's fine as long as you don't forget all the time.
Also, refusing to use brackets will result in a kickage.

<Italy-kun>I SMELL BACONNNN. U8
<Italy-kun>IT SMELLS LIKE .... BACONNNN.

Fake dialogue is fake, but that's how it goes.

Wait, what?
All of your questions may be answered in the chat. You may also ask for help by noting *deliciouscakeee, the creator of this fine chat. She'll be glad to answer a question, as stupid as it can possibly be. But do not worry, she won't think anything of it. However, of course, if it's "How do you claim a country, they belong to the presidents, right?" kind of question, she'll ignore it.

Mods are anyone in the 'Mafia' privclass.
The 'Mancakes' are basically people who can kick/ban if you're a bad person.

Note: The privclasses may change for the lulz sometimes.
